It's been a while...

So you may have noticed that it's been a while since I've showcased any sewing. There's a reason for that... I've done little sewing and the little that I have done is nothing special.

I got some sewing lessons for my birthday from my sweet husband. I am SUPER excited to get some one-on-one instruction!

In the meantime, I'm inspired by what I see around me. And right now it's this...

Anyone have any patterns for this kind of dress? It has to be simple right? For heavens sake it's a jersey with a tie in the middle. But that embedded drawstring messes me up. Ideas anyone?
