Trench coats

The search for the perfect trench continues...

The problem tends to be in a few areas... can you guess? Wait for it... yup, the length in the arms. The fit of a trench coat is a very delicate balance - one wrong seam and you can end up looking like McGruff the crime dog.
Real Simple had some great tips in the March issue. It's not online of course, so here's the basics:

Tall gals in search of the perfect fitting trench should:
- Go for the long sleeves (not cropped)
- Contrasting buttons or a big belt can help break up the torso
- Don't be shy... go for the striking features such as a broad collar, ruffle or bold colors like red

Here's a few I compiled based on Real Simple's suggestions:

What do you think? What are your favorites?

My favorite OF COURSE is the yellow one. The brown one above it is also super cool.
