I love this image. If only, right? If only you were a size 2 and could just glide your way through life like a ballerina buying perfect fitting jeans with the blink of an eye. Well, move it over with your size 7 shoes right now. Let's be realistic!
I began fashion sewing because I was so sick of the lack of fashion options available for tall bods like myself. Manufacturers think that tall means that you are either plus sized or a size 2. So, what options are the rest of us left with? Believe it or not, there are a lot of us!
Well, I'm going to be compiling fashion tips for us... and by us I mean those women 6'0 or taller. I'll be focusing on everything from color and accessories to basics like skirt, dresses and pants. Today's just an overview. Stay tuned for more!
- Skirts, skirts, skirts!
According to Candace tall women should wear a-line skirts.
- Wearing layers can help to even out longer, lanky arms. Cardigans or jackets with the sleeves pushed up can be very flattering.

-Don't be afraid to wear high heels! Sometimes it's kind of fun to be the tallest person in the room.
-Belts: Depending upon where you carry your height, belts can help to even you out a bit. Making a long beautiful dress look flattering or a long cardigan and jeans look a bit more fitted.

- Pants: Make sure the butt of the pants is snug. Droopy butts aren't good for anyone, especially tall girls who's bottoms are a little higher than the rest of the world... making them even more visible!

Don't forget Michelle Obama is a tall girl and she's gorgeous!
I always wanted to be tall and svelte or short and cute, but I'm right smack dab in the middle.
FINALLY a little tall girl attention. I'm very interested in what you find! The long pants and baggy butt syndrome is spot on for me. ugh. Thank god for Gap's XXLong option online... but the selection isn't all that great. What else is out there??
