Sew and Stow

Our attic studio space has been quite busy lately! I just finished a Christmas gift from Sew & Stow -- a great book by Betty Oppenheimer. It's a knitting needle tote. I added one of the vintage buttons I got a few weeks ago. It's quirky, but these buttons are so cute, they are hard to let go. I love these old buttons. Buttons are often hard to find -- especially for a good price. It's like a treasure hunt.

Here's the open view for all of the knitting needles. Overall this is a great pattern, but I'm wanting to modify this slightly so I don't have to use so much bias tape. The tape is tiny and with a piece of cardboard on the bottom part of the envelope, it makes it a little difficult to sew.
