One of my dearest friends is having a baby in July. She has wanted a baby quilt and I recently found out that no one is making one for her. So I decided I had a week to learn how to make a quilt.
I've decided to do a simple quilt. I've chosen 4 different fabrics for a simple 9 x 7 quilt. I've chosen a striped border and a polk dot fabric for the binding.
Let the quilting begin.

Wow! Great minds think alike? I chose a Dick and Jane fabric for my Aunt to use on our baby blanket!
